Musical Background : Already at an early age, Sylvain was attracted to music, so he decided to start playing the drums. Later on, bass playing started to interest him. His first bass was a Univox (Rickenbacker replica) of course...His first live performance doing a Rush tribute was at the polyvalente J.B.MEILLEUR in Repentigny with a full house. Little time after he formed a band called TORNGAT (Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Metallica, ...). Many gigs throughout Quebec were done.

Not having a musical education (reading mostly), he had to learn and play by ear, and still does. His musical influences are quite vast: from Genesis to Saga and Yes, through Iron Maiden and Marillion with some side influences from Jazz band like Uzeb.

His never-ending passion for music lead him to search for fellow musician to form a Rush Tribute. After some phone calls, the chemistry ignited right away between Benoit, Stephane and him. Since February 2003 a new and very special adventure has started which will make you time travel...
